The Dance of Therapy:

The Mind-Heart Connection

Making the decision to go to therapy is often one of the most difficult and courageous choices a person might make in a lifetime, and this decision is usually made when a person is feeling most vulnerable.

The people who walk through the door into my office justly deserve the utmost respect and admiration in light of the choice they have made – to ask for help with their lives. My most important goal is to provide that help, with warmth, empathy, and all the professional knowledge I have.

My work focuses on helping those individuals who often feel hurt, lost, misunderstood, and perhaps hopeless in their own lives and in relationships with families, partners, friends, and co-workers.

The therapy I offer, rooted in years of professional training and practice, focuses on encouraging and supporting individuals as they rebuild hope and clarity in their lives and their relationships.

Within a flexible psychodynamic framework, my approach to working with individuals, couples, and groups integrates a wide range of perspectives and strategies for helping people with distress in their lives.
